Community Service Events - April, 2023

April focused on standing up for rights, for infrastructure, and for the planet! We have been advocating for the replacement of an important bridge in Perry, but we took no pictures, so below is a map showing the closed bridge. We participated in Get Down and Get Dirty on Earth Day picking up litter! And we created crocheted squares to be added to the Freedom to Choose mural!

We may be a small group, but oh we are mighty!!!

Community Service Events - March, 2023

When we decided to start doing community service in a coordinated way, we aimed to do one service project each month. Well, in March we did four!

We built three ramps for local citizens with mobility concerns, and we painted the ceilings of Alpha Christian Children's Home. Do you have suggestions for our next service project? Let us know!

Annual Gala - March 21, 2023

This year's Gala was our biggest ever! Huge thank you to Chris Mann, Sherman Smith, Tim Carpenter, and Rachel Mipro for your tremendous talks and generosity with your time. Also to Marci Francisco who is always takes the time to meet with constituents! Additional huge thanks to The Barn who provided a beautiful venue with wonderful hospitality and delicious food!
We had Kansans from at least four counties and representation from all across Jefferson County. The silent auction, conversations, and entire event was a huge success! Thank you to all who participated!!!
